Thomas Kunka
Professional Biography
Thomas Kunka is the Coordinator of Network Systems and Operations and responsible for support and planning in all aspects of computing technology and networking in our ITS classrooms as well internal operations.
In addition to a Master's in Applied Computer Science from Illinois State University, he also holds a B.A. in Applied Computer Science minoring in Business Administration and has completed courses in the Seven Habits of Highly Successful People and both the Educause Leadership and Management Institutes.
He continues to keep up with current technology by taking courses in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science here at Illinois where he has taken courses in document modeling, electronic publishing, web design for organizations, educational technology and technical editing.
Personal Information
Outside of the office, Thomas has many diverse interests including rebuilding his 1972 MGBGT, building micro-scale radio controlled aircraft, kite flying, Tae Kwon Do, BEAM robotics and artificial life.
